Introductions!

So this is my blog.

I like having one that's separate to everyone that knows me - this is an alias I haven't used before, and so it's unlikely anyone I know will find me here. On the other hand, there's the offchance that someone I don't know will find me, which I'd actually quite like. So you see my reasoning, I should hope.

This blog will be primarily for writing stories. If I actually get any kind of readership (very doubtful), I'll probably also talk about ideas for upcoming novels of mine, but if not (and it's extremely unlikely it'll happen anyway) then it's just a place for me to archive my short stories.

For background: I've written three novels, two of roughly 50k words and one of about 75k. None are particularly good: I always say I'll go back and edit them someday, but truth be told, by the time I've gotten to the point where I'm nearly done, I hate each one so much that I don't want to go back to it, because the idea wasn't good in the first place. I love writing, it's just the ideas part that I fall down on.

So there's me.
